The only thing this video did for me was make it obvious how much Kirb's animation was carrying this project. Without it, the jokes have to rely on how funny they are as jokes as opposed to as spectacles (and look how that turned out).

That and the relevancy is gone. Brawl is old news at this point and its time to everyone besides the extreme hardcore fans to move on to other things. Kirb definitely wants to do that, and if you ask me I gotta agree with him. I've been watching him since he was just a guy going around a smattering of forums posting single digit TTA movies. Those were the bad old days for sure as far as quality goes, but still those movies had a point. There was a story he was trying to sell and that made it something pretty cool for its time.

Parody is good in small doses, but if you ever want to aspire to other things in the field you can't let it become your only significant feature. This is a movie that for all intensive purposes shouldn't exist. Honestly if anything, I take offense to giving Kirb top billing on the authors for something he's actively trying to distance himself from. It makes it painfully obvious that he's the reason people came to see this.

I saw the "crippled mode" and was slightly annoyed. I understand what you're trying to do and I'm appreciative of the effort it must of took to code that checking system. Out of the goodness of my heart I went ahead and disabled my adblocker. One ad later I was into the game, great, that's cool.

If that was the end of it I would be giving this an 8 or 7 for being a competent game. However after the game ran for a little while the screen goes to blue IN THE MIDDLE OF A GAME, and shows me another ad! I gotta say man, making sure that a player sees the ad and maybe earns you a little green is fine by me but when those ads interrupt game play without any warning or seeming predictability that is just being overly greedy and sure to draw the ire of anyone who plays the game long enough to see it.
